did you find michigan on your map? that's where i live. it's surrounded by The Great Lakes. they are so huge that it seems like you are looking out across an ocean. except the water isn't salty. Lake Michigan is my favorite. Lake Superior is so cold that even if you visit it in the middle of the hottest month of summer, you must wear your winter coat and your feet will turn blue if you wade in the water because it's so icy cold.
michigan is known for all the car companies that have their headquarters here. my husband works for Ford Motor Company.
