On monday miss Killough wasn't here so we had art with Miss acsana .

Yesterday we got our report cards. We tiped a letter to Ms. Pyle. We also did a test on the computer.

The second graders are feeling very grown up these days. And, there is good reason for this:

• Today our first individual research projects are due. Each student became an expert on an African animal. Today they will present their projects to the rest of the class.
• We're learning to write in cursive! We know almost all of the lower case letters
• We can add BIG numbers. We've learned how to "regroup" or "trade" when the number is too big.
